Hilton Head Island!

Every now and then, Mommies need a nice, long break by the ocean! My friend Priscilla invited a few friends to join her at her dad's house outside Hilton Head for the weekend. Katey and I jumped on the offer and joined her this past weekend. We had a GREAT time!

It was such a relaxing trip. We slept in, read, ate, went to the beach and the pool, and were waited on by her loving dad! It was so nice! Here are a few shots of the weekend:

No, this was not planned! After we got ready for our first trip to the pool, Katey and I realized we were twinkles!

So, Priscilla's dad lives in Sun City - a retirement village right outside the Island. At this moment, we were the youngest ladies in the pool area. That made us feel special but we were happy to pass off this honor to two college kids when they showed up in their itty bitty bikinis!

Dinner at the Crazy Crab!

It rained during the late afternoon each day, but it didn't slow us down! We still had so much fun!

I mean - TOO FUNNY!
Katey and I agreed this is probably the statue every man wants in his bathroom but only a bachelor could pull it off!
Saturday afternoon at the ocean!
We enjoyed the beauty under the shady umbrellas!

We did take a couple of walks to the water!

Priscilla, Leanne and Katey

Life was GOOD!

Leaving our happy place!

It was raining so hard we decided not to go out anywhere on Saturday night. We rented a movie (We only made it through 15 minutes and I can't even remember the name - WORST movie ever!); painted our nails, and ate a lot of junk food!
We were back in 7th grade again!

Our host - Mr Ed and his girlfriend, Mrs. Nancy

We headed back to the pool on Sunday. We laid in the shade, occasionally going out to take a dip, and read and read and read!

After the pool, we headed to the movie - The Switch Up - Funny!!

Pop Corn and Diet Cokes!

For dinner, Ed and Nancy prepared a seafood feast!
Crab legs

Clam Chowder and shrimp!

I think they were having too much fun!

Happy Times with GREAT friends!
