Reflections

I received an e-mail today from Jack with some thoughts about FVAOH. I had to include them here as the e-mail was a great recap of the week: 

Here are some things of note that occurred to me on reflection of the time we spent together:  

• Luke's catching the cookie and then Cole's catching it 
• Macey's leadership of the Minute to Win It - Although I wasn't sure it was Macey when I first saw her on the driveway - where did my granddaughter go :-)
• Stories told on each other by members of their own family
• Leanne's mushrooms (they deserve a separate mention)
• How much everyone can eat :-)
• The fish at the marina on guys night on the houseboat
• How much Philip loves Big Yellow Digger and Little Blue Engine and how much Grammy loves to read to him
• Luke's making a wipeout game out of the molecule over and over and over . . . . . . I couldn't count the number of times he wiped out
• Abby cooking with Grammy's basil
• Sunday morning worship service 
• Water temperature of the pool 
• Chinese food, mushrooms, star wars pancakes, peaches, brownies, potato salad, ribs, mexican food, and the amazing food on the dinner cruise.
• Cole and his poker mind
• The amazing surfing that Ron and Shannon can do
• Wes' and Joel's computer minds
• KD pulling some of his grandkids on the tube train in the pool
• Jackson riding on the tube with his cousins without a really big person 
• Shannon and Philip dancing in the den
• Discussions with "the girls" around the pool.

We (Grammy and I) are truly blessed to have the family we have in all of you.  Thanks for making our lives so very, very rich.  Jesus teaches us how love and live and so much of that comes to life when we are all together.
