Cumming Fair

Our friends Rocky and Ashley invited us along to the opening night of the Cumming Country Fair. I initially thought Wesley would not be home from his trip from Chicago in time, but he was so we joined them.

The first stop was the petting zoo. Camp, Jackson and Shepherd ventured into the cages with the rabbits. Philip watched from the outside until he wanted to get in on the action!

I had to include this picture - Look in the top left. The lady in the pink shirt and overalls found a straying rabbit and brought it back in to safety. (I am not sure exactly what you would call the manner she is holding that rabbit!)
Jackson will look but wont get too close
Philip's all in!
We told Jackson he could pick one ride and he chose the Bee Ride. He and Camp paired up and had a blast making the bee go higher than lower!

Riley and Shepherd
Camp, Shepherd, and Riley all had unlimited ride passes. Since we only got one ride for Jackson, we were just following them around until Ashley said there was a free face painting booth sponsored by a local church. We took off for that and the boys were highly entertained.

Jackson settled on a Spiderman face painting until he saw a little boys with "Angry Birds" That's what he chose and of course, what Philip then wanted too!

Philip is usually not into face painting but was all about it tonight and all about getting his ENTIRE face painted like Jackson.
Philip finished first and gave his Angry Bird a Thumbs-Up
Jackson is very serious when it comes to face painting.
Thankfully, Jackson's face painter also takes face painting very serious so she worked...
and worked...
Until it was PERFECT!! Jackson looked awesome!
Our two happy "Angry Birds!"

The Benders
Cumming Country Fair 2012
We ended up making it a CHEAP cheap night! $3 parking, free admission, $3 Bee ride, free petting zoo and face painting and CiCi's pizza for dinner. We ended up spending less than $20 on a night at the fair. And it was a blast! Can't beat that!!
