Mrs. Bev's last day

Several weeks ago, we received an e-mail from the school saying that Jackson's teacher, Mrs. Bev, would be moving to Mississippi. We were so sad! We love Mrs. Bev!!

Though it is sad for us (and her twin sister, Mrs. Pam, who also teaches at our school), it is an exciting opportunity for Mrs. Bev and her family.

Tomorrow is her last day but since Jackson doesn't attend on Fridays, we decided to have a surprise going-away party today.  There are only 5 kids in the class so it was relatively easy to organize the party with the moms.  We succeeded with the "surprise" and caught Mrs. Bev as she was teaching. The kids were so excited to see their moms and Mrs. Bev was touched that we all came to celebrate her!

Jackson doesn't really understand all that is going on. He knows Mrs. Bev won't be his teacher next week but he is excited Mrs. Mary (his 3 year old teacher) will be. He also didn't understand the entire purpose of the party, but LOVED having me in his classroom. He showed me around and pointed out the above monkey. He was so proud (as was I!) that he colored and cut out this monkey by himself!
Mrs. Bev - you will be missed!
