My friend Priscilla organzied a tour of the local firehouse for this morning. I had been talking it up to Jackson all week and thought he would be excited about seeing the firetrucks and ambulances up close. He LOVEs to see them go by on the road and it seemed liked a logical fit for entertainment for him.
Turns out, seeing the trucks in person are a little overwhelming! He stayed with the group on the tour but would not participate in the hands-on activities. As we were leaving I did manage to get him to sit on the truck with Tucker, but as you can see, he wasn't thrilled with it!
Priscilla said she would organize another visit in the fall. Maybe when he is older he will enjoy it more.

My boys wore their Elmo shirts to visit the firetrucks, too. Maybe we can go back this summer with J,C,& R.
