Memory Lane

This weekend, I had a trip down Memory Lane. It all started when Jackson, Philip, and I took a special trip to Net and Drubby’s house.

Though we have spent time at their house before something special happened this trip. I was able to pull out old toys I played with as a child. Big Drubby was able to show Little Drubby all the fun things in his office and Net showed off her Christmas trees full of angel ornaments.

We skipped church to make this visit. It was just too cold for everyone to get out. Even though we may not have been inside a church, we did have a special time of togetherness, fellowship and love.

I was blessed to watch my boys spend time with their great grandparents in the house where they are prayed for by name every day.

oh...Emily, Susan and I spent so many hours playing with these! Jackson is holding two butter molds and the contraption beside him is an antique coffee grinder.

So Big!
I was so surprised to open the old toy drawer and find this microphone. I couldn't believe it was still around!!! I showed Jackson to the hearth (aka stage) and he put on a show. Guess the entertaining gene runs in the family...
