We got to the front and Kurt, our preacher, said classes would be canceled because there was no electricity. (Try explaining that one to an upset little boy!) We were about to drive away when the lights came back on. We went into church and I didn't think another thing about storm.
That night at bedtime, I was with Jackson as he said his prayers. I am constantly amazed with what he thinks to pray for. Here was his prayer:
“Dear God, Thank you for turning on the lights at the church. I didn’t think you were going to, but you did.”
Oh, the sweetness and innocence of a child!
