Tired shoulders. Aching back. Sore feet.

All through Disney, Wesley carried an extra 30 lbs on his shoulders. We attempted to use the stroller on day 1, and Jackson would have none of it. So, whenever Jackson got tried of walking, onto Wesley’s shoulders he went.

By the end of each day, I know Wesley was exhausted, but every morning, he’d wake up recharged ready to carry Jackson wherever he wanted to go.

The human stroller – tired but loving every minute!

Day three: Animal Kingdom

The Lion King show - I love this show!!

Riding the safari

This was the best safari we had ever seen. So many animals were out including a baby elephant and the lion.
All the girls - Abby, Shannon, Lynne, Macey and Leanne

The Johnstons
Cole, Shannon, Macey and Ron

Here we are waiting in line for the River Rapids ride.

Father and Sons
Joel, Jack and Wesley

There is a sign as you walk to the entrance of this ride: You will get wet and you might get soaked.

Well, Wesley and I got SOAKED!Here we are before - all smiles...

And here we are after:
This picture doesn't do justice to how wet I was! It took hours for me to dry off!! Luckily it was warm out!
Wesley, Macey, Shannon and I rode on Mt Everest. Here's the picture of our cart. Wesley is acting all cool, but the three girls were screaming like crazy!

It's Tough to be a bug!

As we were preparing for this trip, the thing that got Jackson most excited was talking about the monorail system. This is his favorite part of DisneyWorld. He and Wesley would get on the Internet most night to look at videos of the monorails.

One video highlighted a new monorail - the Tron monorail. Supposedly, Tron is a new Disney movie coming out that Wesley is very excited about. He got Jackson excited and that became what Jackson was looking forward to most - seeing the Tron monorail.

Though it was spotted earlier in the week, Jackson had yet to see it up close. On Wednesday night, after dinner, most of the crew went onto Epcot to enjoy a few extra hours in the park. Wesley and I decided to take Jackson on the monorail.

When we arrived in the monorail station, we learned that the Tron monorail would be arriving next. So...we waited. And you haven't seen more excitement that when it pulled into the station! Needless to say, we jumped on and enjoyed a leisurely ride.
Mommy and Jackson in the monorail station

Jackson was not a fan of posing for the camera - what if he missed the Tron monorail?

Here it is!

Watching it go

Now, he was all smiles!

This is not a posed picture - both Wesley and Jackson fell asleep on the bus ride back to the hotel this night!

One tired little boy!
